Mark Nipper – President (Sharman Property Services)
With over 30 years’ experience in the Commercial Cleaning sector, Mark has extensive hands on industry knowledge. Starting as a cleaner in the late 1990’s, Mark has worked his way through the ranks to be the owner and Managing Director of Sharman Property Services. Having performed operational, administrative and sales roles during his career, Mark has a comprehensive understanding about the challenges faced by business owners within our industry. Embracing the benefits of education, Mark has completed a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science and the capstone Directors course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Mark Hohn - Vice-President (CMBM Facility Services)
Mark is the Managing Director of CMBM Facility Services and joined the BSCAA board in 2017. CMBM is a leading provider of cleaning, maintenance, building and facility management services. Mark has 15 years in the facility services industry and is directly accountable for sales, operations and service delivery throughout Queensland to a large range of sectors. He is a graduate of the AICD and holds a Diploma in Business and Management. Mark joined the BSCAA board in 2017.
Kim Puxty – Director (9T'S Asset Management Services Pty Ltd)
Kim has worked within the cleaning industry for over 25 years and has completed several industry related courses including a collection of Internal Auditing courses, Cert I & II in Occupational Health & Safety Risk Management and Cert IV in Business Administration, Diploma in Management, Governance for Directors and Financial Training for Board Members of Registered Industrial Organisations. Kim is a Justice of Peace (Qualified) and a member of the AICD.
Kim has been present on the BSCAA Queensland Board since 2010, BSCAA National board since 2017 and a Board Member of QLeave since 2011.
Brian Ellem – Director (Ellems Cleaning Services Pty Ltd)
Brian Ellem is the founder of Ellems Cleaning Services Pty Ltd and has over 40 years’ experience in the cleaning industry. Before starting his own company Brian worked as an Operations Manager in Wollongong, New South Wales for a period of 7 years, where he was in control of accounts such as BHP Port Kembla Works. He then transferred to the role of State Manager for Pritchard Services. Brian then started his own company, Ellems Cleaning Services Pty Ltd, in 1984. Brian has been involved with BSCAA for over 20 years and held the role of President for BSCAA Queensland Division for 2 years in 2011. In 2009 he was awarded life membership in recognition of his distinguished services to BSCAA.
Joanna Hudson – Director (Vintage Cleaning Pty Ltd)
Joanna is the General Manager of Vintage Cleaning Pty Ltd. Joanna has in excess of 30 years’ experience in procurement and the contract cleaning industry having held management positions in both the private and public sectors. In past positions Joanna has been instrumental in achieving positive changes within the contract cleaning industry and government procurement processes. Joanna has provided consultancy services to government agencies on cleaning services and productivity targets and formed part of an industry team that developed training modules for TAFE in all facets of cleaning services.
Rod Abbott - Director (NRE Cleaning Services)
Rod Abbott is the founder and owner of NRE Cleaning Services a family owned and operated cleaning company operating in SE Queensland.
Whilst a relative newcomer into the cleaning industry, Rod has put his many years of experience in the corporate world to grow NRE with an emphasis on quality client outcomes. Many evenings during the week Rod can be found ‘on the tools’ helping his staff complete their required tasks.
Rod joined the BSCAA board in 2017
Matthew Evans - Director (One Team Clean Cleaning Services)
Matthew has over 10 years experience in the Cleaning/Facilities industry. He has been in his current role as Manager of One Team Clean for over 5 years which involves all facets of managing a family owned business - H.R., payroll, client relations, tendering, business development, labour and administration.
Matthew joined the BSCAA Queensland Board in May 2019.
James Holder - Director (Pickwick Group)
James has over 10 years experience in the facilities sector. He has held roles in Operations, Administration & Business Development and is currently the General Manager - QLD/NT at Pickwick Integrated Facilities Services with responsibility for leading a business unit employing several hundred staff. James holds a Diploma of Business & Management and is currently undertaking an MBA at UQ.
James joined the BSCAA Queensland Board in May 2019.

Christina Hull - Secretariat
As the Secretariat Christina is a point of call for all BSCAA Queensland inquiries, is responsible for organising the BSCAA Queensland events and looks after the administration of the company. Christina also organises the companies board meetings and works with the board to develop a strategic plan for the Association. Christina joined BSCAA Queensland in 2019.
